Choose the topic that describes the problem. These instructions do not change your account or saved work.

Activate your workbook and create an account

Open the workbook activation page using the card supplied with your book. Enter your Workbook Activation Code and choose Check Code. Then choose Create Account or Sign In. Use the account you want to keep for the course. Choose Activate Workbook if prompted, then Open Student Studio. The general Studio access number is different. Do not paste your activation code into this help conversation.

Read the guide or policy
Return to your existing account

Open Student Studio and choose Sign In when prompted. Use the email and password for the account that activated your workbook. You do not need another activation code each time you return. My songs opens your working songs; Menu → My submissions opens your saved checkpoints. If you cannot sign in or have forgotten your password, use Get human help. Do not share your password here.

Read the guide or policy
Missing or already-used activation code

If your code says it was already used, first sign in to the account you used when activating the workbook. Do not create another account to try the same code. A code activates one account once. For a missing card, an unrecognized code, or access attached to the wrong account, use Get human help or contact your course provider. Keep the book and purchase confirmation available, but do not post the code, password or private links here.

What the introductory package includes

The introductory package includes one printed Workbook One, 12 months of Student Studio access beginning when its code is activated, and 20 creation credits granted once. The credits are not a monthly allowance, and access does not renew automatically. Check the terms shown for your activation code and your account's displayed access date. Keep using the same account throughout the course.

When student access ends

New recording creation and new Baseline or Final submissions require active workbook access. Complete both checkpoints during that period. An unused credit balance does not extend it. You can still write and listen to saved work after creation access ends; saved submissions remain available. Keep your own dated copies too. Use Get human help or contact your course provider about renewal. Renewal is not automatic.

Read the guide or policy
Check the cost before creating

Check the creation cost displayed in Sound before choosing Create & listen. It can differ when an arrangement is locked. Credits pay for creation attempts, not guaranteed finished songs. Writing, editing, listening to saved recordings and submitting existing work use no creation credit. For a balance you do not recognize or questions about additional credits, use Get human help. This guide does not offer a credit-pack purchase or promise a refund.

Saved, created and submitted are different

Saved keeps your working lyrics: wait for Saved and its time before leaving. Create & listen requests a new musical attempt and uses the displayed credits. Submit lyrics or Submit this recording opens a review for a private Baseline or Final copy; confirming a submission uses no creation credit. Editing or saving your words does not make a recording or submit a checkpoint. + Start a new song opens a blank working song without creating music.

Keep your original first song

Your Baseline is your original Lesson 1 song. Finish your own lyric and sound notes before using Help me start, adding section labels, or reading worked examples. Keep a dated original unchanged. You may write on paper or in Studio's blank Your lyrics field. When ready, enter those original words and sound notes in Studio. Submit lyrics is the simplest checkpoint path; a recording is optional. Gritlo support can explain the steps, but does not write or revise your Baseline.

Choose the new Lesson 11 song for Final

Lesson 10 revises your first song for practice; keep its original Baseline unchanged. Your Final is a chosen version of the new song you write in Lesson 11. Finish and preserve the first complete draft yourself before using a recording or feedback to guide revision; do not ask AI for lyric lines. In My songs, choose + Start a new song for that new work, or open it if already started. Submit your Baseline before your Final. Lesson 12 compares the original Baseline with that new Final. These are two formal checkpoints, not an extra submission for the Lesson 10 revision.

Choose lyrics or a recording before submitting

For your current words, choose Submit lyrics in Write. For a finished recording and the lyrics and sound used to make it, choose Submit this recording in Listen. Choose Baseline or Final, review the exact copy, read the private-study consent and confirm. A title and sound description are required for a workbook submission; missing details can be completed for lyrics-only work. Choose audio before confirming if you want it included. One Baseline and one Final are kept; neither can be replaced or have a recording added later.

Find your receipt and return to the workbook

Look for Baseline submitted or Final submitted and the date. Menu → My submissions → View submission reopens that saved copy; later edits do not change it. After Baseline, complete First Listening Notes if you have a recording, then continue to Lesson 2. Without a recording, leave those notes for later. After Final, complete Final Listening Notes if you have a recording, then continue to Lesson 12. If you used a separate submission form, keep its Open Private Page or Copy Link receipt.

Where to do your workbook exercises

Use the workbook pages or your notebook for lesson exercises and dated drafts. You do not need to enter every exercise in Studio. Use Student Studio when you want to work on, hear or submit a song. My songs reopens working songs. Menu → Show me around explains the interface without writing your song. Menu → Workbook resources opens the companion hub in a new tab. Return to your bookmark and follow the workbook's next instruction. Revision notebook is optional: save a labeled lyric snapshot with a goal before and after revising, then compare two snapshots. It uses no creation credits and does not submit or change your Baseline or Final.

Keep your sound notes when changing devices

In Sound, put your own description in Your sound and choose a Style. Plain language is enough; musical notation is not required. For Lesson 1, preserve the sound notes you wrote yourself before using help. Working sound choices are saved on the device where you entered them, so check them when changing phones or browsers. Keep your own copy. Each generated attempt keeps the lyrics and sound details used for that attempt, which can differ from later edits.

Read the guide or policy
Use a recording as an arrangement guide

Choose Lock this arrangement on a finished recording from the song you are working on. Then edit your words and create another attempt. The selected recording guides the next version, but the performance and details can change. Locking the guide itself is free; check the displayed creation cost before creating with it. Choose Unlock arrangement when you want the next attempt to take a new direction. Playing a different recording does not by itself change the locked guide.

Play a Ready recording

In Listen, open an attempt and choose Play recording beside a green Ready recording. Ready means audio is available; Playing identifies the recording playing now. Use Pause to stop playback temporarily. Loading or Buffering means the player is waiting for audio; Making means the attempt is still being prepared. Playback unavailable means the player could not play it. Do not create another paid attempt just to fix playback; if the problem persists, use Get human help with the visible error.

Protect writing that has not synced

If the page says waiting to sync, keep it open, reconnect and wait for Saved and its time. Keep a copy of your words; do not clear browser data to fix this. If prompted, sign in to the same account again. For Two drafts need your attention, read This device's draft and Account draft before choosing which to keep writing. If you are unsure, preserve both copies and use Get human help. Working sound notes also need your own copy when changing devices.

Check an interrupted creation before retrying

If Create & listen was interrupted or the result is uncertain, use Check for my song and review Listen before starting another attempt. The earlier request may already be making a song, and a new request could spend more credits. Do not assume the request failed because the screen stopped responding. Keep your lyric and sound notes. If no clear result appears or a charge looks wrong, use Get human help; this assistant cannot verify or reverse account charges.

Read the guide or policy
Ask for help with your specific problem

Use Get human help for account access, missing codes, unexplained charges, lost work or a problem these instructions do not resolve. Include your edition, lesson and printed page when relevant, plus the button name, visible error and what you expected. Review the summary before copying or sending it. Do not include passwords, activation codes or private links. Gritlo provides approved instructions; it cannot change your account, restore a submission, issue credits or promise a response time.

Who can buy, and where can I release my song?

The market initially accepts US residents and US-based businesses. Before checkout, confirm that you are at least 18 and eligible to buy or represent that business. Buyers may release and monetize their completed music worldwide; the buyer-location rule is not a release-location limit.

Read the guide or policy
What does exclusive mean here?

NoGate sells the selected instrumental to one buyer and stops offering it for sale after payment. It will not sell, license or use that beat for another customer. These are instrumentals with AI performances: purchase does not guarantee global uniqueness, copyright registration or protection against independently generated similar music. Read the agreement for the precise commitment.

Read the guide or policy
Can I release, monetize and change my song?

After confirmed payment, you may record vocals, rearrange, mix, master and remix for your songs, and release, perform, distribute and monetize those songs worldwide with no NoGate stream cap or royalty. You may share working files with collaborators and engineers for those projects. Do not sell or give away the unchanged beat or stems as a standalone beat or sample pack. NoGate credit is optional.

Read the guide or policy
How do I get my beat and stems?

Use your private order page after payment is independently confirmed. It provides WAV, MP3 and Stems buttons plus a saved agreement/order record. Save your private purchase link and your own backup copies. Do not paste that link into Gritlo or share it publicly. If a delivered file is incomplete or will not play, use private human help with the order number and a description.

Read the guide or policy
I lost my private purchase link

Use the private human form with your order number. NoGate verifies the original purchase before replacing access; the old link is revoked. Gritlo cannot inspect your payment or reveal a link based on a name, email or order number alone. Do not put card details or private links in this public question search.

Read the guide or policy
Pending payment or canceling unpaid checkout

Your selected beat is held while checkout is pending. Return using the private order link to continue Stripe checkout or check payment status. Cancel unpaid checkout on that page if you no longer want it; availability returns only after Stripe confirms expiry. Do not pay again merely because a status update is delayed. If charged but unable to download, use private human help with the order number.

Read the guide or policy
How do I request changes to my beat?

NoGate editing is optional at $100/hour. Use private human help with your order number and the changes you want. Agree on a written scope, estimated hours, maximum charge, timing and deliverables before work begins. Further work needs new approval. You may edit the files yourself or use any engineer. Gritlo can explain the process but cannot accept paid work or charge your card.

Refunds and delivery problems

Report missing, corrupt or materially misdescribed files through private human help. NoGate investigates and tries to supply the described working package; if that cannot be supplied, it resolves the issue through an appropriate refund or a solution you accept. Other refunds are reviewed individually and mandatory consumer rights remain. Gritlo cannot approve a refund. A refund or dispute never relists a sold exclusive.

Read the guide or policy
Rights claims and private information

For a claim concerning the delivered instrumental, use private human help with the beat/order reference and claim details. NoGate preserves records and investigates; a claim alone does not prove infringement. Gritlo cannot decide a rights dispute or give legal advice. Public questions go to OpenAI for approved-answer matching; do not include payment details, private links or sensitive material. Read marketplace privacy for order/support handling.
